Setting up Remote Desktop on your PC
On your PC click on Start -> Windows Accessories -> Remote Desktop Connections (RDC)
When the RDC window opens…

  1. In the Computer field enter: thin.vcfa.edu
  2. In the User name field enter your network user name
  3. To make it easier to connect again put a check mark in Allow me to save credentials
  4. Click on the Save As… button to save the new connection. Use a name that will let you know what you are connecting to (i.e. VCFA) and in a place on your computer where you will remember it.

When you first log in you will be prompted to enter your password. Enter you password and click OK. Your password will be saved for the next time you log in.
