To get your free Office for Students do the following:
Click on ‘Other’ (1)
Click on ‘Students & parents’ (2)
A new page will open up. Scroll down the page and find 'Get Office 365 for free’, click the 'LEARN MORE' button.
A new page will open up. Enter in your vcfa.edu email address and click the 'Get Started' green button.
You will be redirected to a new page with two options, I'm a Student or I'm a Teacher. Click on the link that matches your status.
You will get an email in your vcfa.edu email account like the one in the example below. Click on the link ‘Complete Office 365 Education signup’.
You will be redirected to a new page. Fill in your First Name, Last Name, create a password for yourself and enter in your birthdate. Once you are done click the ‘Start’ link at the bottom left and side.
You will be redirected to the page where you can download Microsoft Office. Click the ‘Install now’ link and Microsoft Office will start downloading to your desktop. Once downloaded double click to install Microsoft office on your computer.
After you have installed Microsoft Office you will be prompted to register your copy of office. Click on the second option ‘Sign in to an existing Office 365 subscription’ (please note the following examples are from a Mac, PC screens shots are in the appendix).
Enter you vcfa.edu email address and the password you set up. Click ‘Sign In’.

After you have installed Microsoft Office on your PC you will be prompted to sign in.
Enter in your vcfa.edu email address and click the ‘Next’ button.
A welcome message will pop up. Click the ‘Next’ button.Choose either to accept the recommended settings or not and click the ‘Accept’ button.
